Dr. Sam Robbins.
it’s important to discuss all of your risk factors with your healthcare provider including risk factors that you can change, like eating a healthy diet, getting plenty of physical activity, and quitting smoking. Controlling your cholesterol may be easier than you think, but it all starts with getting your cholesterol checked. It’s a quick and easy test. So if you’re due to have your levels checked or if you’ve never had them checked to make it a priority.
cholesterol has many benefits and it’s not your enemy sir or madam, Actually, low cholesterol is just as bad as high cholesterol levels.
however, there are certain foods that are really bad for you sir or madam, and can quickly increase your bad cholesterol levels and dramatically increase your risk for heart disease a stroke or a heart attack.
let’s begin with the five worse clinically proven high cholesterol foods that you must avoid now.
the first is: dairy
in fact, 99% of dairy products are pasteurized which kills any benefits milk could have, not to mention the toxins, hormones and the drugs these animals are given are highly concentrated in the milk which goes directly inside of your body!
All of these factors, plus the saturated fat inside milk stresses your liver and increases your cholesterol.
it doesn’t matter if it’s whole milk low or nonfat milk it’s all the same, unfortunately. this also includes to my favorite foods “ice cream and cheese”
next set of foods is fast food
it doesn’t matter if it’s tacos or burger, pizza, french fries, or anything else, they’re all high in carbohydrates hydrogenated and saturated fats using unhealthy and toxic types of proteins.
simply, said it’s just cheap food.
it may be easy and you know good on your wallet because it’s cheap but it’s bad for your health and cholesterol levels and you’ll pay the price later on in life.
the next are animal proteins.
the saturated fats and “marble fat” found in meat, the pork, poultry, and shell-fish is “horrible for your health” and cholesterol levels.
Dr. Sam Robbins says: “I’ve noticed that even grass-fed meat and free-range poultry can still cause high cholesterol levels in some of my patients, especially these ones that are super sensitive”.
so you must limit your intake and focus more on fish and vegetable proteins, especially wild-caught salmon.
next are eggs
the thing with eggs is they can be good or bad
in the egg yolk, all the cholesterol and fat is located,
which is why most experts say that you shouldn’t that you should only eat egg whites, however, most of the nutrients they all the essential amino acids in the protein and antioxidants are also found in the yolk, the protein is when you cook the yolk such as scrambled, hard-boiled eggs and fried eggs, which is what everyone consumes.
the heat oxidizes the eggs and damages both the structure of the protein and the fat.
so the healthiest way to eat eggs is raw or just really lightly cooked, the yolk is still runny and doesn’t fry it with butter or vegetable fats and make sure it’s organic free-range eggs.
baked foods/carbs and snacks.
baked foods such as cakes, muffins, Bread, Donuts, and croissants rolls cookies danishes scones and pies right all the good tasting stuff.
these types of foods most people consume, this is the kind of foods most we believe in the morning when they’re in a rush or with their coffee or maybe at work for a snack.
these are all bad because they contain saturated and hydrogenated fats, as well as dairy, and it is not good, not to mention, they’re high in simple carbohydrates and sugars.
“bad fats” increased cholesterol, but what’s worse is:
bad fats + carbohydrates/sugar these really really increase your cholesterol sir or madam and lead to numerous health issues, the combination is just super unhealthy.
under this same category are what I call snack foods like chips and crackers and pretzel and similar items are almost just as bad as these baked foods.
Does it probably feel that you can’t eat anything? right, unfortunately, most of the best-tasting and convenient foods are the most unhealthy for us.
But you don’t have to completely eliminate these foods, however, you should limit them or at least be mindful of the negativity if your goal is cholesterol level well and a healthy heart.
